Teacher gifts are meant to be fun and corny, you can’t convince me otherwise. I love being able to take something my kids’ teacher loves and make it into a smile spreading gift :).
When my oldest son said his teacher loved chips and salsa I knew exactly what we were going to give her. I saw the theme “Nacho Average Teacher” floating around Pinterest and have been wishing for the opportunity to use it for several years!

Basket Basics
This gift theme can be as elaborate or simple as you see fit.
What you will need:
Basket or bag- I got mine at the dollar tree!
Tissue Paper- to help fill out the basket/bag
Bag of Chips -any brand and type will do
Salsa
Queso (Optional)
Gift Card to local Mexican restaurant (Optional)
FREE gift tag printable below

We chose to do basic with the base gift to be able to spend more on the gift card. However, if your budget is larger add in more fiesta goodies like margarita mix, festive glasses or dishes, mini piñata to put the gift card in with some bonus treats! This gift theme is so open ended.
Don’t forget your gift tag. Have your student sign the back and attach gift card (if applicable). Click below to download and print.

It’s as easy as that! I hope your teacher loves your fiesta in a bag and it spreads a smile into their summer.
